Charles "Chuck" Warner Obituary

Charles William “Chuck” Warner, 70, of Kensington, husband of Patricia Warner, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Irving and Patricia (Edwards) Warner. Chuck was a Kensington resident most of his life and was a graduate of Berlin High School.  He was formerly employed as a production supervisor at Stanley Works.  He was the Democratic Registrar of Voters for 10 years.  

Chuck was a member and chair of the Berlin Democratic Town Committee, he served on the Berlin Board of Tax Review, Inland and Wetland and Water Courses Commission, Youth Advisory Board, and chair of the Berlin Parks and Recreation Commission. He coached Little League and served as Vice President of the Berlin Babe Ruth Baseball. He volunteered with the Berlin Food Pantry for many years. 

Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Doyle) Warner; his son, Charles Ryan Warner of Berlin; a brother, William  Warner of Middlefield; and two sisters, Mary Lou Spurr of Middletown, and LeeAnn Ouellette of Berlin. 

Calling hours will be will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy., Berlin.  A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Maple Cemetery, Berlin.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berlin Food Pantry, Berlin Social Services Dept., 240 Kensington Road, Berlin or St. Clare Food Pantry at St. Paul’s Church.
