Gilda Angelina Alberti, born October 29, 1924, resident of Kensington, died April 2, 2024 at Jerome Home.
She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Paul’s Church. After attending Kensington Grammer School and graduating from Berlin High School, she was employed by Stanley Works for 42 years. She worked in Human Resources and became a supervisor in the insurance benefit department. She enjoyed time with family, following the Yankees, and reading.
Gilda was predeceased by her parents, Albino and Genowefa, siblings John (Celia), Alfred (Gertrude), Margaret (Harry) Dahlgren, Sylvia (Joseph) Domkowski, Leo, and Henry (Mary).
Gilda is survived by her devoted nieces and nephews, Linda (Craig) Zendzian, Gail (John) Sisti, A. Richard (Gloria) Alberti, William (Carol) Alberti, Joseph (Rose) Alberti, and Laura Alberti. Also great nieces and nephews, Paul, Robert, Allison, Melanie, Jessica, Kristin, Michael, Amy, Katie and Mary; great nieces and nephews, Alan, Zachary, Mackenzie, Jackson, Mallory, Owen, Hugo, Clive, Julian, Oliver, Arthur and Palmer; as well as great great nephews Grayson and Braydon. She is also survived by her cousin Cheyanne Alberti and sister in law Jean Alberti.
Family would like to extend their thanks to Gilda’s friends Mario and Pat as well as the caring staff of Jerome Home.
Gilda will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services are private, and arranged by Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
